Goal: 4-D professional learning operates throughout the duration of the school year. Our primary objective is to provide educators with an up-to date format towards ASL (Active Student Learning) within the classroom environment. Enhancement of student interaction through collaboration opposed to a brick and mortar approach is what we plan to incorporate throughout the district.
The 5 principals of an effective PD reflect upon our strategy to bring an up to date current status revolving around the effects of technology in a classroom setting.
Allowing time for teachers to learn a new strategy.
Support for the teacher during the implementation stage.
Engage teachers through varied approaches.
Effective modeling towards helping teachers understand a new practice.
Content presented shouldn’t be generic, but specific to the grade level.

Intensive, collaborative and effective training for increasing student achievement in the classroom
Goal: Go and Show Professional Learning STYLE ESTABLISHES INFORMATIVE TRAINING TO SUPPORT EDUCATORS AS THEY IMPLEMENT NEW STRATEGIES WITHIN THEIR CLASSROOM IN THE MATH/SCIENCE DEPARTMENT. THE PURPOSE OF THE ASL METHOD WILL ENSURE ALL NEEDS ARE MET FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED.
Why? IT’S OUR DUTY TO ENSURE QUAILTY SKILLS WITHIN OUR LEARNERS TO CARRY ON TO THE NEXT GRADE LEVEL AND THROUGHOUT THEIR EDUCATIONAL CAREER, NOT ONLY FOR ACADEMICS, BUT FOR LIFE AS WELL.
How? Generate a well-rounded blended atmosphere that will aid in the success of every learner. Not everyone learns the same and creating such opportunities to enhance abilities, skills, strength, and confidence will direct pupils in the right direction for the duration of their lifespan.
What? We want to take learners from a developmental stage to an advanced stage which will take time and effort, but when it’s done from the heart and meaningful connections are met, a certain repour between educator and learner are formed which will justify the leaning process.

Development of a PL program to excel educators into the modern aspect of teaching is the new form of teaching. Children become restless especially towards the end of the day. In their minds, they have given their all throughout the duration of the morning, especially at the elementary level. Development of an active yet fun learning environment will create such a balance that students will enjoy coming to school and being in school due to a variety of ways of human interaction.
Educating myself through this DLL program has given much insight towards learning management systems that were known and unknown. I would like to be the provider or person to bridge the gap between new enthusiastic teacher and seasoned teachers who are used to one or a few ways of teaching. My ASL program will serve as the much-needed connection to bring everyone together. There is so much to learn and all it takes is research and development. Since I chose to further advance myself within the career of education, I will help, guide, and illustrate all the different modalities that the ASL program has to offer.
It is time to stop dreading professional development as a chore or a form of instruction that no one wants to associate themselves with. Creation of a “fun” approach towards teaching will result in a “fun” approach for our pupils to learn in a structured yet lucrative learning environment.
